Gari Rowlands, Land Consultant

With a background in Estate Agency Gari started with Newydd in December 2005 as a land consultant with the brief to secure residential development opportunities.

He works closely with our Architectural team in assessing the development potential of any sites, and after agreeing terms with the Vendors his role has been to action the necessary site investigations and liaise with our legal representatives.

The development team has been successful in securing numerous sites over the previous twelve months, which has enabled me to take up 'Project Management' responsibilities. This involves administering the building contract and ensuring that the scheme is brought to a successful conclusion with minimum delays. His role is wide ranging and covers various aspects of the development process, which makes it both interesting and enjoyable.

Prior to commencing this role in the Development department Rhianydd worked in Newydd's Regional office as a receptionist. Throughout her employment within the company she has developed a large amount of knowledge in the social housing sector, general housing maintenance and excellent customer relations skills.
